I AM ABOMINATION: Another New Song Posted Online
April 12, 2010Taylor, Michigan's I AM ABOMINATION will release its new album, "To Our Forefathers", on May 11 via Good Fight Music. The CD was produced by Joey Sturgis, who helmed THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA's latest release.
A new I AM ABOMINATION song entitled "1776" is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
I AM ABOMINATION vocalist Phil Druyor feels the track is a good representation of the band. "This song is a really mature version of what we want to sound like and represent," he says. "We took a ton of time composing the track, and we didn't hold back vocally or instrumentally."
When asked to comment on his personal feelings on the track, Phil states, "I feel connected with this track in a lyrical sense, especially because of my strong interest and beliefs in our government system. I AM ABOMINATION trusts that when fans hear the track, they'll feel inspired to form their own opinions, and we hope everyone enjoys it!"
In support of the new CD, I AM ABOMINATION will embark a nationwide for the next two months. The band will jump on a tour with WITHIN THE RUINS. April 17 brings about an appearance at the Jamboree Festival in Toledo Ohio alongside such bands as THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, WHITECHAPEL, WE CAME AS ROMANS and many others.
